Hugo was a great tour guide. Really enjoyed the wireless speaker system which made it easy to listen to the guide without having to bunch up as a group.

We took a half-day trip out of Barcelona, and it was not enough time. Girona is about 90 minutes away by car and you need probably 4 or 5 hours to tour the old city, the Cathedral and shop and have lunch. But if you are looking for a change of pace from Barcelona you will not be disappointed by Girona. The Cathedral and its museum are fantastic. The old city feels medieval, and the setting is top tier. There are some great looking hotels in town so think about an overnight visit.
