    Wherever we travel, we do 4 things: take local transit, attend a local sporting activity, visit the big art galleries and do a bus tour. It’s our thing. Attending football in Barcelona checks 2 of those items. Relatively Easy to travel via metro (more signage is required to buy tickets). Ticket prices for row 3. Centre are similar to North American hockey games. Get there early so you can sing the Barca chant song (words handily included on the massive ‘yellow’ papers sitting at our seats) Boiling hot in the sun if your tix on the east side of the pitch.

    Just paid €290 each for a private box with food and drinks included the food was awful and the drinks were cans out of the fridge i have been to a lot of corporate days at the football in England and you get a private room and bar with food served to your table we got none of this if anyone is thinking of booking the gold viip at barcs dont complete rip off

    Atmosphere was 5 star Getting to the stadium really easy just over a mile walk from our hotel and wow the atmosphere on that walk with fireworks and flares but nearly trod on a fire cracker that was thrown down the street we went down and only missed it going bang by 10-20 seconds The staff at the venue all friendly The reason I have only given 4 stars is due to the ticket system we registered our interest months prior to the match and they email on the Friday before the Sunday match. Luckily I was off work so I had time to try and the tickets kept going up in price as as you were tying to purchase they sold out. We paid a lot and we were still up high. We paid for the Basic Plus but the two Qr codes were the same and would not download to my phone so I had trouble collecting the smack. The official merchandise was disappointing that we couldn’t choose as would have preferred a flag or scarf to the captain armbands We also did not get chance to use our museum passes as opening hours not clear online The visit did what it intended to and created memories for my 20 year old son and he said the atmosphere was better than a Fa cup match at Anfield with Liverpool v Arsenal
