Created as a tribute to the dancer Carmen Amaya, the Tablao de Carmen has been staging its pure flamenco show since 1988. Enjoy the purest flamenco at the Tablao de Carmen, located in the historic district of Barcelona's Pueblo Español. Book your ticket now to see our flamenco dancers, singers and guitarists in a different show every night. Your ticket includes a visit to the Pueblo Español, from 16:00 on the same day of your booking, a special enclave away from the crowds of downtown that for a hundred years has brought together the best of Spanish gastronomy, architecture and craftsmanship. My daughter and I booked this show to get a taste of Spain. We’d never been to a flamenco show before. We arrived on time and were presented with a menu with several planned meal options including an appetizer, main, and desert. The food and drinks were great. After we’d started eating the show began. It was very powerful, the singing, the guitar, and the dancers! I know they were telling a story and that they were passionate about, but we couldn’t really tell what was going on. Note that we don’t speak much Spanish. The story could have been all in the songs, and we just didn’t know. The dancing was amazing! The only thing I would have liked was if the band and dancers were introduced. They just kind of showed up, I think that personal touch would have enhanced the experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the show regardless and I would definitely return!

Hidden jewel in the middle of the city. This was our second visit. The dinner was delicious and the show was as entertaining as it was in 2018. I recommend everyone who visits Barcelona to make Tablao de Carmen part of their experience. Best sangria ever!

It was a nice experience. I quite enjoyed Pablo Español. It’s great for someone who wants to learn a bit about the Spanish culture.
