We will experience Montserrat’s Natural Park and its Monastery with a passionate local guide in small groups up to a maximum 8 people. HIGHLIGHTS Leave earlier than others to avoid agglomerations Montserrat Abbey and Black Madonna Funicular railway to the top of the mountain 1 hour superlative and easy hike Farmer’s market TOUR DESCRIPTION We will first visit in Montserrat its Benedictine Abbey, first built on the 11th century and home to Catalonia’s Patroness Saint. After we will get on funicular railway to go to the top of the mountain from where we enjoy the stunning views from the Natural Park of Montserrat and the rest of Catalonia from a bird´s eye view. During the hike we will walk on the same paths used by pilgrims hundreds of years ago, we will get inspired by Montserrat’s fascinating flora and fauna and we will experience unique ways where rocky pillars and ravines show us how inner mysterious water emerge from the hidden and undiscovered very center of the massif.

It was am AMAZING breath taking trip. Uni(unai) and Frank are great pure people with a lot of passion for their job! They make people smiling with their postive energie. The both can give you a lot of (personal) informatie about the Montserrat and everything about Barcelona from places to see, where to enjoy eating(good restaurants) or what kind of event to go to! What they do best is that they LISTEN to what people of the group have to say like where are they from, what are YOUR wishes going to the Montserrat. And make a plan for it We had the privilege to walk up & down the moutain( our choise) and we walked 2 diffirent routes. It was beautifull! The other people of the group took the pendelbus up. The views you get to see are breath taking! You realy have to be there to feel the emotion going through you as you walk. Uni and Frank have great experience helping you in every way you can. The bus ride took about 50 minutes . And there is a great vibe in the bus with music and small talk to get to know both and another. Just go for it! You will not regret it! VAMOS! Gracias uni & Frank

Franc was fantastic!! So knowledgeable and kind and helpful and accomodating to everyone!! Very professional! He explained everything about the history of the land and the Monestsry and Spain. Rode the funicular up and the hike down was great! Many beautiful views on the way down. Would HIGHLY recommend Franc!!!!!
