You will also visit the famous Cathedral of Girona and one of the best preserved medieval Jewish Quarters in the world. In Figueres, Dalí's hometown, you will visit the Dalí Museum, considered the largest surrealist object in the world.

I’m not an art lover, so I went to the Dali Museum because my wife is. I’ve always thought of Dali as a clever and creative artist, but not more than that. The trip was a revelation. Luis, our driver guide, was a passionate explainer of the art and of Dali the man. Had we been there on our own, it would have been interesting. With Luis, it was absolutely fascinating. It was truly an education. Thank you, Luis! Girona was interesting as well and again, Luis was wonderfully informative. If you are in Barcelona with sufficient time I would call this a can’t miss experience.

A most enjoyable day was spent with our guide Vicente and our driver Joaquin. Vicente is extremely knowledgeable, personable and thoughtful. He helped our group delve into the world of Dali and view his works in a way we would perhaps not have seen had we visited independently. We also enjoyed our walk thru Girona and its walls despite doing so in the rain. Joaquin was also very courteous and an excellent driver. Highly recommend this tour!

Wow! The day trip was perfect...didn't matter that we had light rain from time to time. Vicente contacted us the day before to confirm pick up place and time. I was very happy with our small group, rather than a large bus with 40+ tourists. The Dali Museum was mind blowing....Mr. Dali planned the Museum to reflect his love of Galla and the theatrics of his works. Vicente brought this together for us. We had considered spending a night or two in Girona, but agreed the 3+ hours there was plenty to see the historic part of town. You will not be disappointed if you take this tour.
