This old city already existed before the Roman Empire and contains a lot of history.  In the so called ´Old Town´, you will see a lot of traces which lead back to middle Ages. You will also visit the famous Cathedral of Girona and one of the best preserved medieval Jewish Quarters in the world. In Figueres, Dalí's hometown, you will visit the Dalí Museum, considered the largest surrealist object in the world.

Nuria is an amazing guide: very friendly, very pozitive and very knowledgeble. I highly reccomend both the tour to Girona and Dali museum as well as Nuria as a guide. The 2 towns are charming, the museum is impressing and rhe food is good everywhere.
