We really enjoyed the tour and our guide Stephanie was amazing. We learned and saw more in a short time than we could have seen on foot in a few days...

An e-bike tour is always first on our list of activities when visiting foreign cities, especially with active teenagers. You can get a remarkable overview of a city in a short time, keep active and hope to remember some of the historical facts!
Our guide was Stephanie, intelligent, knowledgeable and well qualified to share the history of Barcelona with us. Her English was very good. In addition she was happy to pass on recommendations for restaurants and other visitors attractions at the end of the tour.
There is a lot to potentially fit into 3.5 hours but electric bikes made covering big distances very easy. However, I would suggest you need to be a confident cyclist to do this tour as the bikes are quite powerful. Helmets were offered (not obligatory in Barcelona) and you’d be crazy not to wear them. However there are bike lanes everywhere so we never felt uncomfortable with the traffic.
We were blessed with gorgeous weather. On other tours the bikes have had panniers and complimentary water bottles but this is a minor point.
I would thoroughly recommend this tour.

Stephanie the tour guide showed up 15 minutes late, then we waited for her to park and lock her bike before berating us for not having What’s App and calling her when she was late on the number provided. We walked several blocks to a bike rental shop where we got our broken down bikes (one didn’t have an electric motor that worked and one had to be switched because the battery was dead). We were not offered helmets and we did not sign anything. She gave very little instructions. We asked her to please speak more slowly because we couldn’t understand her and to wait for all six of us before telling us about the sights. She would get to a stop and give her commentary before we had all gotten there and take off, constantly telling us to “put it on 9 and speed up”. She went through busy intersections almost out of our sight and kept on going, even when we had to stop for lights. We got on a straight away and she told us to go fast and keep up. I was third in line and trying to even see her when I fell. This fall was serious! I spent the next 8 hours in the hospital and got stitches in my head, a concussion, a black eye, temporary amnesia, and severe bruises to my chest, wrist, and legs. I had to get a CT scan to make sure I didn’t have a brain bleed and a chest xray. My group (3 couples) helped her return the bikes and did not complete the tour before coming to the hospital.
Today I got notification of a $90 refund, which is utterly insulting! She did not even reach out to see if I was ok.
