Too cold and windy to kayak for us, but our guide made accommodations by driving us to key lookouts and talked about the history of Baroloche. We had a wonderful picnic on the highest point.

Estuve tomando el curso de kayak de travesía de Andemita, estuvo excelente, aprendí muchas técnicas y me divertí un montón, se armó un lindo grupo donde Juanca nos explicó la teoría con conceptos muy claros y ejemplos concisos sobre como aprender progresivamente las habilidades de un palista, las decisiones que se toman, los riesgos y peligros. El profe dió cátedra y no sólo aprendimos, también la pasamos muy bien. Gracias Juanca.

Juan Carlos is an exceptionally outstanding guide (& person)! He picked us up promptly at our hotel and took us on a wonderful hike in the Andes that exceeded our expectations . He provides individualized experiences as was clear from the questions he asked about our expectations & fitness levels in the preceding days. He provided wonderful snacks & lunch, including hot red berry tea. We had great conversations during the hike & got an education on the history of the area & the birds and forest along the way. I doubt we’ll ever meet someone as expert, thoughtful and engaging, or have a such a terrific experience until we return for more. Highly recommend Juan Carlos!!
