Barrier Island Shelling Tour
The Barrier Island Shelling Tour is the ultimate shelling adventure for those looking to discover rare and beautiful seashells in untouched, remote locations. This guided boat tour takes you beyond the busy beaches to the best shelling hotspots in the Ten Thousand Islands, where you can collect sand dollars, alphabet cones, lightning whelks, and even the elusive Junonia.
2.5 hour tour departs from our private commercial docks at 220 Goodland Dr (across the street from Stan's Idle Hour) daily at 8:00 am, 10:45 am, 1:30 pm, and 4:00 pm.

This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund.

We loved searching for shells on a sandbar and looking
At turtle tracks. We found sand dollars too which was pretty special! Captain Nate was awesome!

This was an amazing tour! Nate showed us what we needed to know and helped us find some amazing shells! We had a wonderful time and as an added bonus we got to see quite a few dolphins too!
