The main French structure in the city will be seen on this tour, and the guide will teach history and Cambodian language as well. We will explore the countryside by traveling past fruit plantations, and rice fields, and explain how they grow, stopping along the way to talk with children and farmers about how to raise vegetables. Ridding on original bambootrain and visitors can watch and taste rat barbecue on the way to Phnom Sampou. Experience with climbing up hill to see killing cave, viewpoints, some temples on the summit.     Afternoon Tuk Tuk tour departures at 12:00pm. Start with pick up at 11:50am from your accommodations or restaurants. After that, get to know your guide and share with you about history, culture, religion, agriculture, folk tales and some main tips of Cambodia and Battambang. Then, continuing to see some main beautiful historical buildings, central market, provincial hall and the symbol statute of Battambang (Ta Dambong Kra nhoung).

It was really informing, funny and adventurous to do this tour with Samol! He is a very charming man, who knows everything about kambodia and its history. On our tour it was raining and not even the pouring rain (and driving the tuktuk meanwhile) stopped him from being nice and in a good mood! At the caves we took a scooter to the top and he even gave me his cape and drove me up to the killing cave without any raincover, just for me to stay dry. Also I tried grilled rat on that tour, which was surprisingly delicious :D If i ever stay in Battambang again, i will definitely do another Tour with him! I really recommend Samol!

Amazing experience in the Battambang area. Our tour guide Samol picked us up by tuktuk at our hotel, then we visited the city and he told us everything we needed to know about Battambang. After a very good lunch in a local restaurant in the countryside, we went for the first attraction, a ride on the bamboo train: it was really funny! Then Samol drove us to the Phnom Sampov hills, stopping along the way to show us a wonderful lotus flowers field. When in Phnom Sampov, we visited the buddish temple, surrounded by nice little monkeys, and the Killing caves. Samol explained us everything about this terrible part of the Cambodian history. At the end, right after the sunset, another incredible show with millions of bats flying out their cave, really unbelievable. The overall experience was really amazing: the enthusiasm, the knowledge and the kindness of our tour guide Samol made everything even more special (he entertained us with a few card tricks too!). Highly recommended!

Super après midi avec Samol et Wendy (son tuktuk) il a été très arrangeant et nous a même permit de pouvoir voir un charmant spectacle de cirque après l’envol impressionnant des chauves souris même si le timing était serré. Samol est très intéressant et très sympathique ! Je recommande très vivement ce guide si vous souhaitez découvrir Battambang et son histoire.
