Sambath is such a fantastic tour guide. His in depth knowledge of the countries history as well as his local knowledge of the villages makes for a really interesting tour.
You are totally off the beaten track and get to experience the amazing hospitality and friendliness of the real cambodian people. You learn how they make their living and get to sample some local treats. We loved our trip so much we booked another with Sambath tomorrow. I think this is a must do tour when in Battambang. We were very lucky it was kust us and him, and he is more than happy to share jokes and knowledge with you.

We very much enjoyed our cycling tour in and around Battambang with Sambath (half day). He picked us up at our hotel and brought good bikes and helmets (safe cycling). We saw local life and visited several places where we could see how rice noodles are made, rice paper (with tasting of spring rolls), bamboo-rice, fish paste (interesting :-)). We were invited to slice our own bananas for drying en tasted dried mango, banana, etc. and even had a zip of rice wine with cobra. Our 3 teenagers as well as we really liked this tour and Sambath is the best 'host', who really cares and has a lot of interesting information!
