AWESOME. Did the hole in the rock helicopter tour. Spend the little extra money to go land on top. So freaking cool. Josh was our pilot and made it really fun and interesting. My wife was TERRIFIED to go, but after 10 seconds on there with Josh, she relaxed and really enjoyed it. We also brought our 2 year old and he had a great time. They don’t normally tip in NZ, but if you ask them after when paying, they can charge it to your card. If you get Josh, throw a tip his way, he’s worthy of it

Can't stay enough about this experience, from the moment you walk in to the moment you walk out. Great friendly service, knowledgeable pilot and breathtaking views. Not often you get to experience something like this. Will remember it always and definitely will be back. Thanks Salt Air.

Salt Air are the salt of the earth when it comes to seeing the Bay of Islands by helicopter. Our pilot was very knowledgeable and had a firm grip on the history of the various settlements. This is a must do tour.
