    Then we’ll go to beautiful Nemi. This town is special for many reasons! I’ll tell you all of the legends about it, and then we’ll head to Rocca di Papa, the highest town in the area and the best place to admire the landscape.

Pier is an amazing and passionate guide, he really knows so much about the region and was an excellent host. Absolutely one of the best tours I’ve ever been on and the views in these wonderful picturesque little towns just outside of Rome are incredible!

Wonderful local guide, so kind and informative. Brought to life the history, culture and the charms of the present. Capped off by a wonderful chat and local snacks viewing gorgeous Lago Nemi. Unusually superb!!

This is a fantastic tour of the close by country side of Rome. Easily accessible by train from Termini Roma….25 min ride to Frescati where you will meet the tour guide, Pier. A truly authentic guide who is a local passionate of his region. He took us through Castel Gandolfo, Nemi and Frascati. Beautiful small Italian villages with spectacular views. Pier was so personable and kind. He took the time to explain the « in’s and out’s » of each village. We were so jet lagged upon our arrival the day before…but Pier’s tour energized us as it was so interesting and educational. We missed the 1st train to Frescati as we were on the wrong platform. Pier was kind enough to wait for us and delay our tour by 1 hour. Thank you Pier for transferring the love of your region to us. The best and nicest guide you can have. Recommend 1000%! The highlight of my trip :)
