However, due to high demand from our clients, we have specially designed a tour for wine enthusiasts who are keen on taking a scenic wine trip to Carmelo. This tour guarantees a visit to a small boutique vineyard that produces wines in small batches, offering you the chance to taste superb wines amidst the beautiful countryside. You have the option to enjoy a light lunch of cheeses, cured hams, and snacks, or you can indulge in a traditional Uruguayan Asado (BBQ) lunch paired with the finest wines. My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of spending the day with Andres, our guide extraordinaire in Uruguay. From the moment we met, he had us in stitches, making us feel as though we’d known him for years. He was waiting for us bright and early, and the laughs started right away! On the drive to the stunning Pueblo Tannat winery, he shared fascinating bits of Uruguayan history that were as engaging as they were informative. Our Montevideo Beer Tour was exactly what i hoped and wanted from tour. We got to experience the local beers and pubs. It was a great experience to mingle with the local night life of Montevideo.
