    The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby at 9:00 a.m., and then driver to Mutianyu Great Wall (75 miles away from downtown, about 1.5-2 hours driving). Hike on the most famous part of the Great Wall, Mutianyu section (for about 2-3 hours). It’s the prettiest part in Beijing. You will take the cable car up and down as well as hike up on the wall (1,000 steps high) or While on the amazing wall, you will walk on it and take the whole beautiful bird view, Your tour guide will explain the sightseeing along the wall with you. Refuel with a authentic Chinese fish lunch or western sytle lunch as you wish, When the journey back to Beijing city, the famours Roast Duck dinner is waiting for you, after that you can attending a tea ceremony as you wish to fresh your stomach then back to your hotel for a good sleep.

Fantastic tour to the wall. Pick up from hotel 7am. On the Wall by 9am. Plenty of places to eat, grab a coffee. We took the seated chair lift up and the toboggan down. Not an easy part of the wall to climb but well worth it for the views! Get there early to avoid the crowds.

Linda and the driver picked us up at our hotel & we headed to Mutianyu. On the drive Linda filled us in on the history of the Great Wall and surrounding areas. Once we arrived at our destination Linda shared more of the history of the Great Wall and some history of Chinese leaders. Linda was simply ADORABLE! She was very Professional, Personable, Knowledgeable, Interesting, Humorous and Fun to be around. If you book a private or small group English speaking tour request Linda to be your tour guide. She is amazing!!!! While on the trip Linda was quick to notice when we were needing a break or to slow down. She was also great to take pictures of us - as we wanted!
