    Pick you up in time from Beijing Capital Airport or your hotel by our private tour guide and driver. Drive to Mutianyu Great Wall, you can stay at there as long as you like. After that, transfer you to Summer Palace.

    Visit the Summer Palace, you can decide to stay longer or shorter time. Transfer you back to airport or your hotel after the tour.

Herbie was a great guide! Considerate not to talk when I was texting with family and friends in the car, told me to take my time when walking along the Great Wall. He was also a great photographer - knows all the best photo spots along the Mutianyu section of the wall and the Summer Palace but more importantly full of information both about the two spots in the tour and Beijing in general. Great tour, and the convenience of being picked up and dropped off at the airport - with enough time to check-in for my flight is much appreciated. Thank you!

We had a layover of just under 14 hours and the trip was planned so we didn't have to rush out of the airport. We were lucky enough to reach the Great Wall fairly early in the day, which meant we experienced a beautiful sunrise and not many other tourists. On the trip we had the pleasure of having Herbie as a guide, which we highly recommend. He was in a good mood, super good at English and had great storytelling. During transport, our children asked for Chinese characters, and he drew and told about the story behind and how they have evolved over time. Herbie has great historical knowledge and was good at telling us about both the wall and the summer palace, which were the two places we visited. When we booked the tour it was mentioned that we could take a lift up to the wall instead of walking (for an extra fee), but when we got to the wall we almost felt that we had to use the lift. In the end, I think it was the right choice not to walk all the way up, but be aware of this when booking the trip.

Took the guided tour with Alice to Great Wall and Summer Palace. Had a brilliant tour and really enjoyed Alice way of guiding us. She arranged everything perfectly and also ensured that we had a terrific typical chinese lunch. I can highly recommend this agency and especially Alice as the tour agent.
