Terry was an amazing tour guide. This tour was the last day of our 17 days traveling (by ship) up the Chinese Coast. We booked this trip independently of our cruise.
Terry was able to give a comprehensive tour around Beijing including The Forbidden City, tea class, lunch at a popular local spot, and the Temple of Heaven. She even stopped at the Silk Factory (per my request). We felt we could return home satisfied that we absorbed vast amounts of local culture and history.
Most of all, she was enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge as well as interested in our local History (of Boston). Not only did we have an amazingly fun day but we also made a new friend! Also, the driver was safe and careful so it was truly stress free and enjoyable.

The experience was OK. I had my own ideas about what the tour would be and it did that... pretty much. Our guide struggled with his English a bit and that made it a little tougher to get through it all. Tiananmen Square was closed the day we were there and the smog in Beijing was impressive! That also did not help the experience, but that's the way it goes. All in all we saw what we expected to see. As I said, it was OK.
