Begin your journey from Piazza Mercato delle Scarpe and follow your guide through the charming medieval streets up to Rocca Castle, the perfect spot to enjoy an unexpected view of the Lower Town and the nearby valleys. Your tour will then continue on to Piazza Vecchia, the center of the Upper Town. We were lucky with our knowledgeable guide. She took us around old town and explained the history and present dynamics of the Bergamo. She also took us inside the church and basilica and provided interesting and informative stories behind many paintings and tapestries.
