    We visit Haus Schwrzenberg. Here we get a feeling how East-Berlin look liked in the eighties. We visit a former workshop for blinds with a hiding place, used in the former time to hide a jewish family. Nearby are the Hackesche Höfe. 8 Courtyards constructed in Art Nouveau style.

  • Stiftung Neue Synagoge Berlin - Centrum Judaicum, Berlin, Germany
    We visit a historic club, called Clärchens Ballhaus, get a feeling of the atmosphere within the twenties, because there is nearly nothing changed. Hear stories of occupiers and explore the Heckmannhöfe. A wonderful courtyard. Finally the story of the New Synagoge.

Die Führung brachte unsere Gruppe zu nicht alltäglichen Orten im Zentrum Berlins. Sehr kompetent, anschaulich und unterhaltsam wurde uns 2 , 5 Stunden lang viel Wissen vermittelt, illustriert mit Fotos und Anekdoten, so dass die Zeit im Fluge verging. Unser Stadtführer, Herr Götz, gestaltete unseren Spaziergang sehr abwechslungsreich. Sowohl wegen des Inhalts der Führung, aber auch wegen der Person unseres Stadtführers werden sämtliche Gäste gern auf die Firma travelxsite zurück kommen.

Wir hatten mit Swen einen sehr schönen und interessanten Spaziergang durch das Scheunenviertel und die Hackeschen Höfe. Swen konnte uns viele interessante Geschichten über Menschen, die während des Krieges und auch heute noch im Viertel wohnen, erzählen. Es ist im ganzen eine sehr empfehlenswerte Tour mit Swen als Reiseführer. Sehr gerne wieder!

Der Spaziergang mit Swen war an Drehorten von BABYLON BERLIN aufgehängt, spannend waren aber die vielen kleinen Abstecher und vor allem die Geschichten, die Swen als Stadtkundiger zu vielen Orten zu erzählen wusste. Gerne wieder!
