Join our fun and easy-going road trip from Berlin to Prague through the picturesque town of Moritzburg, the magnificent city of Dresden, and discover the hidden gems of Saxon Switzerland National Park. We’ll bring you to places you’d never be able to visit in one day and help you discover the two countries in the best possible way. Our knowledgeable local tour leaders take a small group, maximum of 8 people, for a fun-filled 10-hour road trip from Prague to Berlin. You will learn about the history, culture, and most importantly the people of both the Czech Republic and Germany.

On the walking tour of Dresden we take a look at the extravagant Zwinger palace, Semperoper house, famous Frauenkirche church, check the biggest mural painting on the walls of Royal palace and learn about the stunning history of Dresden.

This was a great tour! The pick up is easy & the van is comfortable. More importantly, our tour guide, Peter, was friendly and knowledgeable but also kindly mellow. He was just a “nice guy”. I never would have seen the places we stopped at. Dresden is beautiful and the National park with sandstone formations were breathtaking. It’s a great way to see other areas of Germany. It’s also a great way to get a little break between the insanity of Berlin and Prague. I can’t recommend this enough. Do it!

Super fun tour! Stopped at a number of beautiful destinations where our fantastic guide Juraj provided history about each place. The minivan was super comfortable, and we had lots of laughs together! Really a great travel day. And, so much better than going via train. It was a bonus to see more areas of Germany. Overall, definitely would do it again!!

Zuzana was our guide through the Saxony country side showing us beautiful, diverse, and interesting locations along the way. She was very personable and a joy to be with during our excursion. The van was very comfortable with enough room for everyone. The administration of booking, meeting, and ending the trip was very professional and friendly. We would highly recommend Sidetrip and will be using them again for future excursions.
