Experience the charm of Friedrichshain with live performances, handcrafted treasures, and a cozy cup of Gluhwein (mulled wine) to warm your journey. East Berlin is a true melting pot and we have created an itinerary that explores the foods, events, and people who have helped shape the artistic neighborhood of Friedrichshain. From the traditional Döner Kebabs that have been a Berlin mainstay since the end of World War 2 to the introduction of new Middle Eastern dishes from the 2015 refugees, we discover 6 food stops that represent the rich tapestry of Berlin cuisine which sets it apart as an international gastronomic hub. Try the delicious Vietnamese TyTy Tacos - an exciting blend of Vietnamese flavours and German ingredients and 3 different Beers. Clara was GREAT! She really knows her way around history and all of the delicious dishes. I would definitely recommend trying this tour if your looking for getting a good handle on Berlin history and all of it’s AMAZING meals and drinks it has to offer
