This tour focuses on the Berlin of the Nazi-era. By singling out a range of buildings the mechanisms and the brutality of the Nazi-regime will get highlighted, as will the fact that besides millions of people losing their lives, at the end of the Nazi-terror lay a city and a country in shame and in rubble, to be subsequently divided, with a wall separating the east from the west. This tour takes visitors back to places where things actually happened by also underlining the fact that the Germany of today is a place different from what it was then, yet still haunted by the phantoms of the past.

Martin recently brought a group of Irish kids & parents on a walking tour of the Berlin wall. The tour was excellent-- Martin brought it alive with his stories & history. He was very clear , patient & answered all questions . We all liked Martin & he was an excellent & interesting tour leader . We would recommend him very highly-- excellent English .

Nous avons passé un réel moment émouvant et fascinants . Nos enfants de 19 et 21 ans ont adoré pouvoir discuter et poser des questions. Ce fut un dialogue riche en points historiques et détails croustillants que nous n'aurions pu soupçonner. Nus avons beaucoup appris de l'Allemagne d'hier et d'aujourd'hui et comprenons mieux nos voisins. Merci
