The audiovisual exhibition spans a dramatic arc from the German division and the construction of the Berlin Wall over the Cold War and the fate of the victims of the Wall, to the historic events that caused the fall of the Berlin Wall. On more than 100 screens with original film recordings from the period from 1945 to 1990 - the most beautiful day of the Germans - the reunification! The exhibition deals with the post-war period, the temporary division of Germany by the victorious powers and the concomitant hardening of the relations between East and West, which finally brought the founding of the FRG and the GDR, as well as the first establishment of a wall around West Berlin.

La experiencia puede resultar un poco confusa tomando en cuenta que son una serie de videos que se reproducen en bucle en cada una de las salas y no resulta del todo coherente el recorrido. No recomendado para personas que no hablan inglés ni alemán. No poseen audioguía en otros idiomas.

Excellent place to learn about the history of the wall. One criticism would be that the audio guide becomes quite disconnected from all the many pictures in the display . That said : it did not spoil it . Teenager feedback was slightly long and the hand held audio was a nuisance- it would be much better with headset . 36 Euros for family of 4 for one hour . Could easily spend longer but we had committed to the spy museum afterwards .

Sehr enttäuschend. Eine Sammlung total unterschiedlicher Fakten (Von Flucht über Warschauer Pakt bis Koreakrieg und Mauerfall) aber völlig ohne Konzept. Der Audioguide spricht genau das, was auf den Tafeln steht (ist also unnötig). Bildschirme funktionieren nicht und Schautafeln sind unlesbar. Wirklich total enttäuschend und damit überteuert.
