Xavier, with his Catalan heritage, was a very knowledgeable guide, with recommendations for restaurants and access to sights not generally accessible to the public. The tour of several medieval villages and towns in the hinterland of Catalonia was quite beautiful, and a welcome change for a day from the hubbub of Barcelona. We would highly recommend both the tour and Xavi.

Xavier was an excellent driver and was very knowledgeable. We learned about Spain’s medieval cities and how they have evolved to present time. It was a 10+ hour day and we had planned accordingly. We ate lunch at a quaint restaurant in one of the medieval towns we visited. My limited hearing provided limitations but we resolved it by moving me to the front. I would suggest that a microphone with hearing pods be available for all the participants. Our group of eight had difficulty hearing in the back. However, Xavier made up for it when we would stroll the villages.
