We had the most incredible day exploring Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples with Chek and his driver Sopheak. From the moment we met, it was clear how much knowledge and pride he had in sharing Cambodia’s history and culture. He brought each temple to life with stories that made us feel like we were stepping back in time, yet he also knew just how to keep things light and engaging for the whole family. The pacing was perfect—enough time to soak in the grandeur of Angkor Wat, wander through the mysterious tree-root temples, and still pause for those quiet, magical moments without rushing. He knew the best spots for photos, (and took many great photos of our family) and just as importantly, when to skip the crowds. What really stood out was his kindness and genuine care. He made sure we were comfortable, always offering water breaks, checking in our daughter, and adapting the day to our energy levels. It felt more like traveling with a knowledgeable friend than a formal guide. I can’t recommend Chek highly enough if you want to experience the temples in a way that’s both deeply meaningful and truly enjoyable. We’ll remember this day forever.

The tour guide and driver were wonderful for us and our small children. They were accommodating of our pace and attentive to our need, providing water and cool clothes after every stop. The guide knew the best paths to avoid the crowds and still see the significant parts of each site. We felt well takes care of.

This was one of the best tour I have ever done! We had just one day in Siem Reap and wanted to make sure we cover all the main spots. We were coming in pretty late at night so didn't want to do the extremely early AM sunrise tours. (TBH, they are overcrowded and overrated) Rain arranged a pickup and drop off from the airport for us as well. Just reach out to him via WhatsApp. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable but has great English skills so we could even have conversations about life in Cambodia and not just learn about the temples. He is so thoughtful that he carried a cooler full of ice cold towels that were a life savers each time we got back into the car. Wow! Never experienced that before. We bought a post card but didn't have the time to mail it which he did for us after we left. So kind and thoughtful!
