High above the rooftops of the city of Mozart, the evening begins with a GOLDEN VIP Dinner in the Panorama Restaurant at the famous Fortress. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the city and the beauty of the landscape, surrounded by majestic mountains. After the dinner you will experience a top classical concert. Hear some of Mozarts most popular works, like "A little Nightmusic", as well as other great masters of music, performed by internationally renowned musicians. During Advent and Christmas time you also listen to traditional Salzburg Advent and Christmas music. Individual tables at dinner in the Panorama fortress restaurant! Your table will be allocated according to the number of people booked, except 23.-25.12. In case of fine weather and suitable weather conditions, the VIP dinner is served on the panorama terrace. The setting/view and concert were all wonderful. The service was great. Only reason for 4 stars vs 5 is the meat was tough/overcooked. Highly recommend.

Booked this experience for two adults and our 18-year-old son on our first night in Salzburg after traveling from Munich by train. It was a great way to see the city and we enjoyed a delightful dinner and concert afterwards. A few things to know ahead of time. 1) You really should arrive as early as possible to get explore the fortress a bit prior to your dinner time. It is rather large with lots to see. 2) Make a point to ask for a window seat at the restaurant to take in all the mountain views. We did and would not have been as happy if we'd been placed in the middle of the restaurant even though you still have sight lines, it's just nicer at the window. 3) The food was delicious and quite gourmet. However, the offerings are pretty limited - 2 main entrees. We all ended up ordering the fish because no one wanted to eat veal. 4). The concert is pretty long. Wonderful musicians and music but it probably was at the limit for our 18-year-old son, especially since it was quite hot that evening and we were dressed in nicer clothes for the setting. Booking the experience through Viator was easy but you probably can save some money by just doing it on your own. There is another restaurant on the fortress that appeared to be less formal and I imagine the concert tickets can be purchased separately. Having said that, it was the nicest dinner we had during our trip and felt very special. No regrets.

Well organised evening The dinner and service was superb. The concert was professional and entertaining. Just long enough to enjoy the experience.
