It's Port of Spain's only food tour! You'll also hear about this city's rich history and how it's reflected in the daily lives of its citizens! Stroll through the bustling downtown along a promenade while hearing about our very cosmopolitan history. Your 3.5-hour experience will also take you to the uptown part of the city where you will see the glorious architecture of the Magnificent Seven, which were originally family homes built in the late 19th Century! You will visit landmarks like the War Memorial, the Botanic Gardens, places of worship, and so on, all of which highlight our city's history and its richness in diversity.

    Your next segment of this tour takes you to the uptown part of Port of Spain where you will be driven even deeper into our history via 19th Century buildings (known as the Magnificent 7), the Botanic Gardens and the Queen's Park Savannah; said to be one of the world's largest roundabouts.

    Food Stop: You will be stopping near the world-famous Queen's Park Cricket Ground at one of the city’s best-kept secrets (literally) where you will be enjoying hot and spicy freshly fried meat or fish stuffed dough. Food Stop: You'll also be enjoying the most Trinidadian experience; eating our famous and popular doubles (fried bread with spicy chickpeas) right next to the street vendor! Food Stop: Your street food experience will then be topped off with a very popular refreshingly chilled milk-based drink, with flavour choices that include peanut and sea moss. Please indicate if you are lactose intolerant so that a substitute can be offered.

    Food Stop: Chocolates! You'll be visiting a cute and cosy little shop where chocolates are hand-made following organic and sustainable standards. A bar of dark chocolate of your choice is included while also having the option to purchase other cocoa-based items. A chocolate lover's heaven!

    Fort George Lookout: Finally, you will be driven up to Fort George Lookout (some 366 m / 1200 ft) to get a breathtaking view of Port-of-Spain. On a clear day, you can also see our closest neighbour, Venezuela. Get those phones/cameras ready!

Americans, don’t be afraid of Trinidad! If you are coming in on a cruise ship I highly recommend Anthony’s tour! We now understand the rich culture in Trinidad and got to experience areas only a local could be familiar with. And the food! Thank you Anthony, for showing us your beautiful country and giving us a taste of the local cuisine. An absolutely fabulous tour.

We had a full day tour with Anthony covering the North, West and Center of Trinidad and had an amazing time. The tour included some sights we wanted to see but also other sights Anthony recommended. Anthony is very knowledgeable, friendly and humorous guy that offered us a great day. I can only recommend him and his services to those looking for a guide in Trinidad.

This was our first time in Trinidad and we were a little wary of what we would find. We shouldn't have worried. Our tour guide Anthony was early and waiting for us at the port with a welcoming smile. We started off with an interesting walk around the newer parts of Port of Spain and then jumped in the air conditioned mini-bus and moved on to the historical area. He was great company for me and my wife and we laughed more than any trip in the next two weeks of our Carribean cruise. It's a great introduction to Trinidad and if you choose this tour ask for Anthony. Hes a lovely man and you won't regret it.
