We booked a tour about 2 months in advance . The night before we asked if we can optional wine tasting , but they said no, which is ok, ot was last minute . The day of the tour the driver was there on time: the problem was he did not speak English and used good translate and he was just a driver and not a tour guide. Using google translate he told us the tour guide got sick, which happens but the travel company never notified us . We emailed the company right away and told them we won’t take a tour . No answer . We heard back after we asked Viator for a refund as we paid for 2 adults and one child more than $300 for a tour that we never took . The owner of the company lied and told Viator we still took the tour , which we never did . He was quite nasty in his emails . We ended up arranging a last minute tour with the hotel , twice cheaper . Viator gave us a refund for 75% but not the full amount . I have been to 64 countries and never had such a terrible experience with any travel agency .
