    Alma-Arasan is a beautiful gorge along fast mountain river on the way to Big Almaty Lake. There is an easy walking trail along the gorge which leads to hot spring baths and small waterfall. The whole area is major leisure spot for locals.

Prompt communication, on time pick up from the hotel, careful driving on the road and snowy/icy mountain hills, and very knowledgeable and pleasant guide and conversation by Nursultan. Nursultan speaks excellent English, is very kind and understanding. From the get go we felt very much welcomed. The trip was filled with interesting information about the areas that we were visiting as well as general information about living in Kazakhstan and its culture and people. We highly recommend this tour.

Wonderful guide, great drivers, beautiful landscape. Nursultan speaks very good English and is a kind and professional guide. Alex drove incredibly well on a road full of snow. The Big Almaty lake is amazing and the gorge tour was very nice.
