Your guide will give you a brief overview of the history of our area, the special place salt has in Hawaiian Culture, our salt making process and the centuries-long travel through deep sea currents our ultra pristine and mineral rich water took before arriving to us here. We finish with a tasting of some of our Kona Pure and flavored salts and then invite you to enjoy watching the sun as it sets into the ocean from our oceanfront grounds or covered deck. The tour is only partially wheelchair accessible, please contact us.

    Our Salt Farm Manager will meet you at our office and give a guided tour of our water source, salt harvesting areas, explain the salt harvesting process, our other deep ocean mineral products and finish with a salt tasting.

Great and informative tour! Their product is fun to learn about and seeing their small operation is so interesting. The sunset on their property is amazing and the salt samples were delicious. They guide was super knowledgeable and very friendly.

Very interesting tour about how they manufacture Kona Deep Sea salt. Easy walking, not strenuous. I enjoyed the sunset tour because it also provided beautiful views. I also learned that it takes 900 years from the water being used there today to make it from Greenland.

A beautiful setting on the ocean. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. We were able to taste salt water that is 900 years old and is piped from 2000 feet under the ocean. The finished salt is amazing!
