  • The Museum of Army Collections from the Croatian Homeland War, Karlovac, Croatia
    A collection of Homeland War arms and equipment in Turanj is an open-air museum, under the skies that remember all the wars in this area. And there were way too many wars. The history of Turanj is closely connected to the history of the Karlovac fort, as its outpost used to defend the Korana and Mrežnica bridges leading into the town. It was names after the ‘turans’, wooden guard towers erected along the Korana banks. Throughout the history, Turanj has been a constant site of military and war activity. As the first entrance into the Karlovac area, with bridges over two rivers, it attracted both the welcome guest and the unwelcome ones. The latter caused problems from time to time.

Andar en bici por el centro de Karlovac fue hermoso, también conocimos el río. Muy recomendado para hacerlo con amigos|familia. El dueño del lugar muy simpático.

Excellent experience, bikes were super, the host - Matija also gave us some excellent ideas were to go and what to see regarding all four of Karlovac rivers. We are sure to come back and try cayak from Turanj to Karlovac.

Za razbijanje monotonije moj dečko i ja odlučili smo se za vožnju bicikličkom turom. Vožnja kroz ljepote prirode u grupnom okruženju bila je vrlo ugodna. Međusobno razumijevanje voditelja i sudionika je izuzetno. Jedno lijepo iskustvo koje bi svakako preporučila svima te samim time je vrlo niska i pristupačna cijena
