Even though I am kyrgyz, I'd never been to Song Kul before as it always seemed quite far and required a special transport to reach there. We are happy that we booked the trip with Talgat. He was very punctual, funny and creative. My friend didn't know how to ride a horse, so Talgat first taught him, then kept near him throughout the trip. About the lake, this is WOW! Such a calmness there, that it felt I was on another Planet. If you take this trip, I suggest to meditate there and play some football with local boys ;) Cheers!

Talgat was very knowledgable and gave us a great tour with loads of context about Kyrgyzstan and the region we visited. A real highlight was having a meal with his uncle at his house. He made every effort to ensure we had a good tour even through we were late in the season

I had a wonderful time going on this tour to lake and staying in the yurt. Although yurt life is certainly does not have the conveniences of the 21st century, I had the time of my life relaxing there. I went horseback riding for the first time, and I tried many delicious Kyrgyz dishes. It was an immersion into Kyrgyz culture. Taking pictures by the lake was a blast. Also, Talgat was very kind and helfpul in organizing everything! Thank you!
