My family and I (group of seven) did the Bacalar tour from Playa Del Carmen with transportation and lunch included. The staff was great and the sailboat crew truly made our trip delightful. The driver and tour guide were both very nice and fluent in English. It’s important to note that this tour is an all day excursion. Transportation from Playa Del Carmen to Bacalar is 3.5 hours each way, but it’s worth it. If you’re looking to discover other parts of Mexico, this excursion is for you! The sights and water of the 7 Colors Lagoon is amazing.

Suite à l'annulation de notre visite prévue à Bacalar par un autre opérateur quelques jours avant notre arrivée au Mexique, nous nous sommes tournées vers le commercial de notre hôtel qui nous a conseillé ce tour-operator. Départ prévu à 7h30 de l'hôtel, ramassage dans les hôtels voisins, mais au bout de 3/4 d'heure de route terminus tout le monde descend, changement de van: en fait nous sommes dans un genre de gare routière d'où nous sommes dispatchés vers nos destinations respectives. Bilan: presqu'une heure de perdue. C'est fâcheux, car Bacalar est encore à 2h30 de route; de plus la pratique est répandue mais les opérateurs/commerciaux se gardent bien d'en informer les touristes. Une fois dans le bon van (très confortable), avec la guide Tania, plus rien à dire, journée de rêve: 2h de bateau et de baignade sur la lagune en compagnie de German et de sa fille, adorables. La lagune est à la hauteur de sa réputation, magnifique. Tania donne les explications en espagnol et en français (pas d'anglophones dans le groupe), elle est souriante et on la sent passionnée, c'est très agréable. Repas très très bon au resto à Bacalar, puis 30 minutes de temps libre (mais que c'est court!!!! L'heure perdue ce matin aurait été mieux employée à flâner dans les rues de la petite ville!!!) avant de reprendre le van qui nous ramène directement à nos hôtels, sans changement comme le matin. Bref, à part la contrariété du matin, une très belle journée. Nous recommandons cette excursion :-)

Ayer fui a Bacalar y la combinación de todo hizo que mi esposa y yo pasáramos un día increíble merecen un Wooowwww de título, los guías Adrián y Fernanda, la comida, la explicacion, la laguna, el recorrido en lancha, definitivamente no podría decir que me gustó más de todo eso... Un día simplemente espectacular!!
