For guests staying at the Hotel Riu Touareg the pick-up and drop-off are not included in the tour price, it will be required to pay an extra fee to be picked-up and dropped-off at the Hotel Riu Touareg.
Pick-up will take place at the main entrance outside the hotel. Not at reception as it can be crowded.

    Get picked up at your hotel and depart towards Rabil, the second most populated village in Boa Vista. There, meet locals, visit a local handicraft production, and appreciate the work of artisans who dedicate themselves to making decorative pieces with clay from the Barreiro.

    Take path into the Viana Desert in the northwestern part of the island, a must-see place for anyone visiting Boa Vista. Marvel in the sand forming dunes brought from the Sahara Desert to the island by the wind over many years. Feel the African wind, the tropical sun, and enjoy the landscape that offers different beauties. Experience walking barefoot on the warm sand and rolling off the dunes and see the curious gaze of goats that live there and feed on the acacias that borders the desert.

Stay away from Rab. I attended Rab for years with satisfaction and pleasure but in the last 3 years everything has changed. The reception, the prices, the quality of the services, all very overdue. I would also add widespread arrogance, especially in local authorities. A tourist like me who for once did not park at 10 pm in a paid parking lot because there was no space finds himself paying 232 euros (70 penalty and 150 to pay a lawyer who follows the practice) with threat, if I did not pay, of civil suit. Thank you Island Rab, treat tourists like this. I will never go there again and I will also make every effort to advise against anyone who wants to go. And anyway gentlemen of Rab remember that Rab is not Portofino.... but the prices are the same!!!!!!! Oh, congratulations.

We had a tour in an open jeep with Clayton. It was a lot of fun. Clayton gave us a lot of information about the island.

The desert is beautiful. The wreck is a curiosity and the return via "Sal Rei" (less visited side) very informative. The young woman who served as our guide was very friendly and gave us a lot of explanations.
