Boat Tour to Mljet National Park & 3 Islands

This was our favourite day of our whole holiday in Dubrovnik! The reviews are true, it is every bit as good as everyone else has said on here. I was worried it would feel like a bit of a long day as it was such an early start, but it’s actually the perfect length as you have a great mixture of cave swim stops, time at Mijet National park (my favourite place!) and a beautiful chill beach stop fora cocktail at the end of the day. Marko & George were brilliant guides, making sure we were all well looked after and safe to swim, with lots of info about the local area. They also made sure we arrived at the popular destinations at the best times so that they were quieter. Odeysseus cave is incredible, I won’t spoil it but make sure you swim in there! We hired bikes for 2 hours at mijet national park and it was a lovely easy cycle, plus we swam over to St Mary’s island which was beautiful and an easy swim. The water is so crystal clear and warm ???? delicious ice cream there too! Being on the speed boat was really fun too, we were listening to great tunes and met some amazing people and it all felt really safe, if a little bumpy & windy which added to the fun! We were celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary on our first holiday without children in a long time, and this was the perfect thing to celebrate! Book this tour, you won’t regret it ???? Top tips; Make sure you take plenty of cash as most of the places we stopped were cash only, and for entrance to the national park. It is worth getting Dubrovnik pass as you get an 8 euro discount on national park entrance, as well as for other sights and buses whilst you are staying in Dubrovnik. Take lots of sun cream for the boat and plenty of snacks, as it felt like as long time until lunch (ham & cheese baguette provided by Marko) and we wanted to spend time exploring rather than eating at a restaurant. Sitting on the back seat of the boat was most comfortable with lots of sunshine! It would help if you are quite active for this trip for getting on and off the boat, and the bumpiness and general length of the trip. Come ready to have a great time and relax ☺️

We had a wonderful day with Marko and George. They make sure that everyone in the group had all our needs met and enjoyed the experience. Mljet island NP and all the places they took us were beautiful and not crowded. Marko was so generous and understanding. We booked the tour on the wrong date on the day before we arrived in Dubrovnik, and did not realize it till he contacted us. Marko gracefully let us join the next day.
