They are building new cruise terminals in Colon and Panamá City, but for now the experience leaves much to be desired. When we were told we didn’t have a cruise transfer, I was a big t worried. I booked the transfer online the day before and got a confirmation back within a few hours. Be sure you specify how much luggage you have, because if cruising a sedan may not be enough. Our driver arrived early, kept in touch with us throughout the disembarkation process, which was painfully slow. Non cruise transfers had to exit the immediate area and walk about 500 meters further but a private transfer is better than a full bus! Overall we were glad to be met!

The driver patiently waited for us to find him in a difficult pickup situation. This cruise port is very congested, and non NCL arranged transportation is able to get close.
