    When we reach the slopes of the white mountain and enter the cultural area of Pamukkale, we make our first visit here to the ancient city of Hierapolis. We visit this ancient city, which is at the highest point of Pamukkale Mountain, with our experienced guides. While strolling through the streets of the ancient city of Hierapolis, we take lots of photographs. On the other hand, we listen to the information given by our expert guides and learn the importance of this ancient city and which civilizations it hosts.

    You will be able to observe the Roman and Byzantine textures in the gates, columns, temples, caves, tombs, altars and statues of it. Surely, your mind will expand after this stream of information.

    After visiting the Hierapolis ancient city and learning impressive information, we give you free time to explore Pamukkale. For 2 hours, you can examine the naturally occurring Pamukkale travertines and terraces, enter the white mud and benefit from the thermal waters. You cannot hide your astonishment when you see many historical ruins such as gates, columns, temples, cages and tombs from the Roman and Byzantine empires. When you get tired of walking, you can enter the hot and healing waters of the Cleopatra Pool (by paying an extra fee), which is fed by the city's hot springs. Total travel time will be 8 hours.

I booked this tour based on reviews and after speaking to Sami. This tour is not operated or offered by Sami or GB tours. They sell third-party tours. They tours are HUGE 50+ people. We were picked up late, rudely dropped in side of road, changed to a massive coach with English speaking guide, polish guide, Turkish guide. Tour was rammed packed. We were lied to whole day, all the itinerary times were made up and kept changing. we did not even get full 2 hrs an sites promised. Lots of tourist trap-selling stops. Bodrum to Pammukale takes a full 4hrs without breaks, it took us about 6. We were ready at 6:30am (picked up late at 7am) and dropped back at like 9:30pm not even at our hotel but on side of motor way ten mins away from hotel. We arrived so late at Pamukkale site which is huge (days to explore) and they made us walk to Cleopatra pool (20 mins) and that was part of out 2 hrs there! We also had to go back to coach (20 mins walk) in our time!!!!!!!!!!!!! The site is so huge we got like 10 mins at pammukales and honestly 7 mins in the pools (which we paid extra for). We just spend the whole day in transit or waiting to use the bathroom. Because its such a huge tour every stop there is a massive q for bathroom. Unplanned stop to leather factor and somewhere else no one cared about. 'Lunch' was about 4:30pm we were given about 18 mins to eat and everyone was so hungry. The whole day was horrible. Tripadvisor are no safety net, they did not offer any refund despite multiple requests. Neither did sami, pretty much ignored request for refund and said nope. Just avoid! I booked thinking its a small business with local tourguide, we had other people complain on tour as well. Sold by Sami and team but delivered by third party large vendors. Just don't book and avoid!!
