A four-hour exploration by bike of central Bogotá, during which we'll visit the historical center, La Candelaria, a traditional fruit market, a coffee factory, street art, and hopefully a game of tejo, Colombia's national sport. We'll also pass by landmarks such as city parks, the Plaza de Toros, Museo Nacional, and experience the economic and arquitectural diversity of different neighborhoods. Part-way through the tour, we'll stop in the Parque Nacional to sample fruit salads, juices, barbacued meats, corn-on-the-cob and other traditional Colombian street foods. The route, of about 12 kilometers, is mostly flat, and the tour is casual, with frequent stops.

Daniel was onze toergids en we hadden echt een super tocht, we hebben veel gezien van de stad Bogota en Daniël was super aardig en heeft veel verteld over de stad.

Fun, chill, extremely informative. Daniel was our guide and Omer was the mechanic at hand, and both were extremely attentive and considerate and amazing speakers. The route they picked done a good job showcasing the socio-cultural diversity of the city. Each stop was provided some fascinating, eye-opening, and humbling context, and I learned so much more than I would just reading about Bogóta on the internet alone. On top of that, we were all treated to a fun coffee stop with a roaster tour, and made our way to the fruit market to sample some really vibrant and juicy fruits. We ended with an introduction to game of “tejo” which I would compare to a game of cornhole with explosions. The overall experience was well rounded, thought provocative, and fun! I’d sign up for a 2nd tour if I had more time here.

Deze fietstocht was super leuk. Veel geleerd over Colombia en de historiek. Het is goed te doen voor iedereen. Onderweg stop je om een koffie te drinken en een tweede keer om fruit te proeven. Heel blij met onze gids Guan Felipé! Hij deed dat super enthousiast. Zeker doen.
