Amazing experience! Our guide was so knowledgeable, accommodating and explained the process of jewelry making so well. This was probably one of the most unique experiences of a lifetime. The hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommended putting this on your list of things to do in Bogota! Would go again in a heartbeat!

This is a must do when in Bogota! Juan was an excellent host and tour guide, explaining the history of emeralds, gold and silver in Columbia, and how their energies represented the earth, sun, and moon! We then went to the place where we crafted our own rings! With expert guidance from professional jewelcrafters , we learned how to smelt silver, then shape it, and craft it into a ring, placing the emerald into a setting, then polishing the final product into a beautiful keepsake! We met a small group of wonderful "fellow jewelcrafters" from different parts of the world, and all the rings created were very beautiful and different, depending on their thoughts of the perfect ring!
