This is a great way to sample Boise's great food scene. Sample isn't the right word because the portions at each stop are large! The tour was fun and festive and our guide, Nancy, made it all a great experience.

The tour had a great variety of food; you won't leave hungry. A favorite was the stop in the Basque neighborhood. It's also a great mini overview of downtown Boise, so you can learn some history and get a few photo ops. I ended up being the only one on the tour, but my tour guide was fun to talk to, making it feel like walking and eating with a new friend.

First and most importantly, thank you to Angela for being so accommodating. My stay in Boise was short as I was attending a conference, and with all the latest flight delays I was hesitant to buy non-refundable tickets, but at the end we were able to make the tour and it didn't disappoint! The group was small, 8 people for the 4pm, so the conversation was easy, with the tour guide asking interesting questions. First stop was a pizza place. I'm not a pizza fan, but this place made me change my mind. No tomato sauce and a very crisp and light sourdough dough. Spicy sausage and hot honey? Yes please. Next one, a friendly brewery with spicy pulled pork sandwiches, followed by an awesome salad at a fancy restaurant, and finishing with boozy icecream at a food hall. And the ticket includes the cocktail pairings! One of the best food tours we've taken in a long time, highly recommended.
