  • Seceda, Ortisei, Italy
    Mount Seceda is located on the sunny side of Val Gardena, in the middle of the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site. It is the highest panoramic point in Val Gardena that can be reached with the lifts: 2,520 metres/8,300 feet above sea level. From the center of the splendid town of Ortisei, thanks to a tunnel with escalators and Tapis Roulant, you can reach the cable car station in a few minutes, where a double cable car departs that will take you to the top of the Seceda. From the top station of the cable car, if you wish, you can reach by walking the panoramic terrace in less than half an hour with a spectacular 360-degree view of the Odle group and various other peaks of the Dolomites.

  • Val di Funes, Funes, Italy
    The 2 small churches in the Funes Valley. After admiring the Odle Dolomites from Val Gardena you can admire the same mountains from the opposite side, i.e. from the idyllic Val di Funes. You will realize how different the same mountain can look if you look at it from different positions. It is in the Val di Funes that, a short distance from each other, are the 2 churches that have become so famous above all thanks to Instagram. From the panoramic terrace you will first admire the small church of San Giovanni in Ranui and then we will instead have to walk about 25 minutes to reach the exact position where there is a bench (the bench of contemplation) from where to take the famous image of the small church of Santa Maddalena.

OMG.... this tour was spectacular! April 2023, weather was clear and very cool. Alex Scacchetti was superb, very knowledgeable and engaging. He knows his history and geography of the region, and provided plenty of photo opps. This was the best way to see the beauty of the Dolomites "stress-free" and full of history. For anyone visiting Bolzano this tour is a MUST DO!! Thank you Alex for a fun day!
