The tour guide Ben was great. He was accommodating and helpful. Answered any questions we had and seemed happy to be touring. The reason I gave it a 4 star was the transportation. It should have been a sprinter van instead of a regular van which was not the tour guides fault. We would not do the tour again specifically for that reason. However we would def do a tour with Ben.

If you get the chance to get Gilbert as your tour guide, you have hit the tour guide lottery! He is energetic and poetic in describing his beloved home of Saint Emilion. The care he took in selecting three lovely wineries was evident. Our outdoor picnic lunch in the vines became an indoor lunch due to the 104-degree heat, and it was still lovely.

Gilbert is extremely knowledgeable! Not only did he know the wineries, the terrain, and the history but since he’s local he added in tons of flare of his own favorite places. Lovely time.
