In this tour, you will get a chance to explore many attractions related to the 1984 Winter Olympic Games, held in Sarajevo. The tour will take you to the Olympic Museum where you will get a chance to see an exhibition related to the Olympics. Then, you will visit the Bobsleigh Track on Trebević, which was made and used in 1984. Nowadays, it is not in use anymore as it was damaged during the Bosnian war. Then, you will visit the Olympic Village and Ski Jumps on Igman Mountain.

Beautiful place to hike up a bit to see the start of the bobsleigh tracks as well as a really beautiful viewing point where we got to see a nice view of the city. Our guide Amar helped us take photos along the tracks and at the ski slopes; amazing memory and beautiful place despite all the sad events that took place.

We started the morning off by meeting at the Torus Tours Office by downtown Sarajevo. Vekas, my guide, showed up promptly at the appointed time. He took me to the Olympic Museum first, then to the not-so-abandoned (it’s now a frequently visited tourist attraction in Sarsjevo) bobsled track on Mt. Trebevic. Vekas shared that he loves photography which was awesome because he obliged to taking some of my photos during the tour. We then visited Mt. Igman and climbed to see the ski jump. Thank you Vekas for a great morning!

We had a really good day seeing the old abandoned Olympic hotel, ski jump and bob sleigh! Our fantastic guide Safet Begic was an amazing Bosnian guy showing and driving us around in beautiful Bosnia????????????????He recommended at lot of places to go around Sarajevo, which was very kind of him. We can really recommend going on that trip, with Safet as the guide!
