Our Home is located on top of the hill above Sarajevo. That position gives us one of the best views of Sarajevo. We offer cooking lessons at our home because we believe that the only way for our guests to experience local way of living is to visit our home, our garden , make the food we eat almost every day and enjoy in one of the best wines from Herzegovina – you can’t go more local than that. The only condition we have is to bring positive energy and a STRONG will to eat whatever you made at the end of cooking lessons. On the other hand we can promise you a lot of fun and laugh!

    This was the highlight of our trip to Sarajevo. Mersiha was an amazing host and an even better cook! Apart from enjoying a delicious meal, we ended up hours chatting about the war, Sarajevo and life in general. It was a great evening, highly recommended for anyone visiting!

    This cooking class was a little gem! Mersiha and Mustafa were so welcoming and being in someone's home is so much more authentic than being in a restaurant. The experience was great and I am inspired to make some of these dishes again when I return home. I not only learned some tips for cooking but they are wealth of knowledge about the country's history, culture and food. In the few hours I was there, we had great conversations, ate amazing food, drank lovely wine and I feel I made good friends. A definite experience not to be missed.

    Our family of 4, including 2 children, loved our Bosnian cooking experience. We learned a few fun and delicious local dishes and Mersiha was able to tailor them to be vegetarian. Our kids were very involved in the whole process and still talk about how much fun it was to make the borek dough and thoroughly enjoyed their whole time. Mersiha and Mustapha were warm and friendly and we were able to speak to them about their experiences with the war and living in Bosnia. After the cooking was done, we all sat down together to eat and it felt like we were having lunch with old friends. It was a great experience getting to know the local culture, traditions and country better and we would love to do it again.
