Latin Bridge, Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina The bridge took its name from the neighborhood on the left bank of the Miljacka, where Sarajevo’s Catholics resided. From 1918 to 1993 the structure bore the name, Principov Most (bridge), after Gavrilo Princip, who was only a few meters from this bridge when he assassinated Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife, Sofie. This incident, known as the Sarajevo Assassination, led to the beginning of the First World War. 5 minutes

It was a great walking tour. There are some stairs and hills but not a problem for anyone in average to good health

very pleasant climb by cable car .on arriving up there, we have the choice of several hikes, including the one to see the old track of Bobsleigh . but we can simply wait for sunset for a very pleasant moment. The view is sublime, the descent by cable car when night falls, shows us Sarajevo with all these lights . not to be missed during a visit to the capital.

Very enjoyable ride to the top of the mountain. Comfortable and safe cars. The signage at the top wasn't brilliant - we managed to more-or-less work out our routs around the walking paths, but a fair amount of guesswork was involved because the signage petered out. Toilets had no toilet seats. There appeared to be no staff helping people on and off the cars at the top - all fine until someone has a problem. Generally a good experience and worth the money but one feels a little more investment in the tourism infrastructure would encourage more people. We did enjoy seeing the disused bob sleigh track.
