On the way to the Tunnel, our guides will give You an introduction, show You Sniper Alley, memorial to brutally murdered children, and other important war related objects. When we get to the whole complex of the Museum, You will get to stand in front of big map of Sarajevo under the siege and get complete picture about where the Tunnel is located and to hear its stories. After details Your tour guide will introduce to You, be ready to see the 17-minutes long movie about the siege and about the Tunnel. Before going back to city, You will get to walk in tunnel for 25m, saved as it was originally, to experience the struggle. Digged by ingenious and brave citizens of Sarajevo, the tunnel was the only entrance and exit of the occupied city, and represented hope and strength of its people.

This museum is a tribute to the Bosnians who built a tunnel during the conflict with Serbians in 1990s. The actual tunnel that carried people from one side of town to the other is being refurbished so a simulated tunnel offered us the real experience of traveling through the tunnel. The other exhibits show weapons, office items, and photos of the conflict.

La visita è stata molto interessante. In alcune salette viene proiettato un video che racconta la storia dell'assedio e della costruzione del tunnel. Il sito è conservato con cura. E' presente anche un book/gift shop. Suggerisco di raggiungerlo in auto (è lontano dal centro della città); c'è un parcheggio a pagamento di fronte all'ingresso.

Very nice museum, we got there with our tour guide and we could then look around. I found it very interesting and it's good to go there when being nearby.
