This half day private tour is a perfect way to visit the Revolutionary War towns of Lexington and Concord and see the site where the "shot heard round the world" was fired. We'll take the same route as Paul Revere, stopping at the most significant sites along the way to give a detailed account of what and how things unfolded in April 1775. The travel time from Boston to these towns is 45 minutes each way and you'll be in one of our comfortable Honda Odyssey private vehicles with an experienced, knowledgeable and licensed tour guide.

Our tour guide, Martin, was excellent. He was passionate about the historical facts of the tour and he knew his subject very well. We learnt a lot from him. I did a similar but longer tour with my son 4 years ago. It was with another company and guide. While that was also very good, Martin presented a lot more detail about the events of the Revolutionary War which were very interesting. Also he was personable and thoughtful, and made us feel very much at ease in his car. I would have liked to have stopped in more places of interest, but there were obvious time constraints and for a 3 hour tour, this was not feasible. I can strongly recommend this tour and hope you get someone as good as Martin.

Joan's advice on which national historic sites in the Boston area to see and how to reserve tours of these sites was helpful and accurate. Martin's knowledge of Boston, the Lexington/Concord Revolutionary War sites, and the John Adams historical site was outstanding and presented in a logical easy to understand manner. He selected a wonderful casual restaurant for lunch for our party of five and used his knowledge and connections to obtain dinner reservations for us that night at a popular small Italian restaurant in downtown Boston. He drove safely and arrived at each stop on time.
