What a beautiful view of ALL of Boston. Went at sunset, so we saw the city in the daylight, dusk, and dark. Lots of informative areas. Enclosed view and open air view. You can even save places you want to visit using your ticket, and then at the end they will email you the details to help plan your visit to Boston.
Very professional and organized with superb hospitality. Interesting, educational, exciting, and exhilarating. I have a fear of heights, but this experience was conducted in such a way that I super enjoyed every moment. The views were spectacular and I felt safe and conducted the entire time.

Amazing view! I really love what they have done with it, and the miniature village at the end was a really cool feature too! There were staff members up at the top to provide information about Boston or help you find buildings. They had small scale models of some so you could see what it looked like and look for those. That was a really cool feature. They even had screens to tell you about different parts of Boston, and you could save them and have them emailed to you.
The selfie area was pretty cool too with all the different backgrounds you get emailed. We had no idea until I opened the email today. A really neat feature.
The only bad part was The Beacon. We decided to skip the bar and go there instead (there's a bar and then The Beacon which is a restaurant.) Right from the beginning the service was very lacking. The hostess asked if we had a reservation and we didn't. Before my friend could even say anything, the hostess said "it's fine, you don't need one." Then looked around the corner and said she didn't have any tables available, but we could sit at the bar. Okay, no worries. When we walked in, there were at least 4 tables for two available, and no one came to sit at any of them the entire time we were there. We sat down in front of one of the bartenders and no greeting, nothing. My friend had to ask if we could get a menu. We decided to just order drinks (which took long enough to get someone to come over and no, it wasn't busy at all). We had our drinks and asked for the bill. The blonde haired bartender gave us a dirty look and walked over to the cash mumbling. Then he passed right by it, and went to talk to the group beside us with one of the managers for a good ten minutes. It's only when they asked for their bill he went to get ours. He then handed two other groups their bills first, and still didn't give us ours. So my friend had to ask again, and he was like "ya coming up okay?" Like we asked 20 mins ago at this point sir, just for the bill! He took forever at the register, and it seemed the register wasn't working right for him (apparently). He finally came over to us with our bill and said "when you're ready." No apology, no thank you. Nothing. I put my card down and it took another 10 minutes before he'd pick it up. I think the only reason he did is because I told my friend I was about ready to get up and leave given we'd waited half an hour just to cash out. Well he wasn't paying attention and ended up charging me for the group he'd been talking to for 10 mins. The only reason I knew is because the guy in that group called him over and said it wasn't their bill because they'd ordered food, and then said the girls there just ordered drinks. No apology from the bartender, nothing. He needed a different manager to help him fix it, and she wasn't in any rush either. Now I always tip, even if it isn't great service I'll at least tip something, we didn't. It shouldn't take 40 mins to check out! Yes we only ordered drinks, but really? That's how you treat people? Never once an acknowledgement for the wait or a thank you. Walking out the hostess barely looked up and was like "bye." No thanks for coming, nothing. So I turned to my friend and said, "lets go somewhere they actually value your business." Another couple was walking in as we were walking out, dressed up, so the hostess suddenly perked up. They heard me and turned around and walked upstairs; I imagine to the bar up there instead. The hostess glared at me. Well sorry, everyone should be treated with respect.
Other than that, I highly recommend the attraction. The movie in the elevator was a cool touch too! Definitely glad we paid the money; it was worth it. Just avoid The Beacon. The bar on the second floor was busy though, even though their patio was closed because of the brief rain storm. So it might be a lot better of a place to go.
