GUIDE: Eduardo's passion for plants and flowers made the tour. We learned so much! Eduardo explained everything in detail without complication. We loved that he always started with a question to keep us engaged before explaining something. GARDENS: *Nothing lifts one's spirit like being surrounded by an beautiful garden. The plant diversity is broad and the garden is well-organized in a tropical setting. *Orchids are the star with a supporting cast of cacti, cacao and endless tropicals LUNCH: *Everything that we enjoyed at the on-site restaurant was fresh and delicious. Hands-down some of the best enchiladas (verde, Suiza and roja) that this enchilada connoisseur has ever enjoyed! The ice cream for dessert was astounding.

This was an amazing trip! Recommend that everyone take the time to do it! Our driver, Juan, was an excellent driver. Eduardo, our tour guide, is the best!! He is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and speaks several languages!! The gardens are absolutely stunning. The food in the restaurant is delicious and plentiful.

Do not think twice. Just go. And if the VIP tour is in your budget, it's worth every peso. I'm an avid gardener and I've traveled extensively. These gardens blew my mind. An utterly magical space full of silly guinea hens, fascinating spider webs and every orchid imaginable! I have NEVER seen so many wild butterflies in my life. Our guide, Eduardo knew every single plant and critter and had patience for all our questions. The restaurant exceeded my expectations and after the morning hike, we were hungry!
