I would have liked to heard more music from New South and less from the female vocalist. The band was very talented and their Christmas song was the highlight of the show for me. The comedy was a bit much. Political humor doesn’t belong in a Christmas show.

The band is outstanding talent and kept the show rolling! New South Gospel is quite good —we all remarked we wanted to hear more of them, for certain. Jackie Brown is talented. Main reason for 3/5 is the show is mostly tired material. Seen this show 3 times in last 3 years and not much has changed in the material. The jokes are the same…and political at times—why? We wanted to escape the real world —why are you talking about Nancy Pelosi in 2024? Too much time spent on the “comic” Jim Dandy—not too funny and again same tired “jokes” several years old. We will give the show a break for a few years and hope for new material when we return. The singers and the band deserve better.

We used to love this show but it has gotten very stale. This year we were lucky enough to catch it while Mike Patrick was gone. That was a plus, his voice is gone and he is a hasbeen.Just love Jamie Hagie, he is a great comedian. But other than that a lot of the skits are very old and stale. Most of the same stuff, year after year.
