Visit a monastery and see the restored hermitage of Bandovas See the 11th-century Byzantine church of the Dormition of the Mother of God Admire the marvelous sunset from a remote spot ideal for stunning photographs The tour begins either from Kalabaka or from your accommodation in the area. Be driven up to Meteora in a luxurious mini-bus where an experienced and skilled tour leader will explain to you the history of Meteora and show you hidden places that only locals know about. See the 1000-year old hermitage of Bandovas, which was built like a cave system. You will also see the Byzantine Church, which was built over ancient ruins. Later, visit a monastery to admire the Christian architecture and see the frescoes in the churches. Just before sunset, the driver will take you on the peak of the rocks at a perfect spot for photographs. Admire the beautiful sunset view over the valley below. The tour ends afterward and you will be dropped off at your accommodation.

Superb tour of the monasteries and gorgeous sunset views with lovely, knowledgeable guides who entertained the whole family, including our jet lagged teenager, and took amazing family photos too! Loved the added treat of climbing to see a hermit cave, Highly recommend, thank you!!

Es war eine super tolle Tour. Kompetent und charmanter Tourguide. Wir haben Glück gehabt und hatten eine private Tour nur zu zweit. Dadurch wurde die Tour auf deutsch gehalten. Es wurde sehr viel Wissen vermittelt und wir durften eine griechische Süßigkeiten Spezialität probieren. Wir haben an diversen Fotostops gehalten und konnten die schönsten Ausblicke genießen. Abgerundet wurde die Tour dann mit dem traumhaften Sonnenuntergang bei den Felsen. Wir empfehlen diese Tour auf jedenfall allen, die nach Kalampaka kommen.
